2011 Faith Confessions

Sunday, January 2nd, 2011

These Faith Confessions are compiled to help you speak what God says concerning you this year. The Bible says: “A man’s belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled. Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit there of (Proverbs 18:20,21).” Hence, when you speak faith-based words, you speak things into existence. You can frame your world by the words you speak. Just as God spoke the entire universe into existence, you also can create your own world and experience in 2011 through the fruit of your lips. Please, meditate on the words of the confession and speak them over your life daily:

2010 Faith Confessions!

Monday, January 4th, 2010

“A man’s belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled. Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof (Proverbs 18:20,21).”

When you speak words, you speak things into existence. You can frame your world by the words you speak. Just as God spoke the entire universe into existence, you can create your own world and experience in life through the fruit of your lips. To reinforce and speak what God says concerning you this year, we provide the following confession of faith to help you shape your life. Please, meditate on them and confess them loudly several times:

Put Your Life into His Hands!

Monday, December 21st, 2009

Today’s Verse:

“Put your life in the hands of the Lord; have faith in him and he will do it (Psalms 37:5, BBE)”

Today’s Word:

Every new year, many people are in the habit of making so-called “New Year Resolutions” outlining a set of “dos” and “donts” for the new year. No sooner the first few months pass than it becomes hard to keep to their resolutions. I believe what you and I need as christians are not new year resolutions, rather we need a written plan of what we aim at achieving in the new year in all aspects of our life – spiritual, health, family, career, business, financial, intellectual, personal, and community.

You Hold the Keys!

Thursday, December 17th, 2009

Today’s Verse:

I will give you the keys to the kingdom of heaven, and God in heaven will allow whatever you allow on earth. But he will not allow anything that you don’t allow (Matt 16:19, CEV)

Today’s Word:

As a member of the body of Christ, you and I have been given the authority to establish the kingdom of God here on earth. We are to ensure that his will is done in our lives and community just as it is done in heaven. This is important because, everything we see manifested in the physical world (whether good or bad) are controlled by the invisible (spiritual) realm.

It’s Never too Late to Win!

Monday, December 14th, 2009

Today’s Verse:

The LORD was helping the Israelites defeat the Amorites that day. So about noon, Joshua prayed to the LORD loud enough for the Israelites to hear: “Our LORD, make the sun stop in the sky over Gibeon, and the moon stand still over Aijalon Valley.” So the sun and the moon stopped and stood still until Israel defeated its enemies. This poem can be found in The Book of Jashar. The sun stood still and didn’t go down for about a whole day (Joshua 10:13, CEV).

Today’s Word:

Every sportman and woman understands the importance of a few extra time. You probably have watched many football games that were decided in a few extra minutes after the normal regulation time of 90 minutes. No time is ever too short to become a loser or a winner in the game of life. As we approach the end of 2009, you are probably ending with a feeling of “there’s still so much to do and less time to accomplish them.”  And, of course, the natural tendency is to give up and suggest it’s already over for the year. But, I have a word for you today: it’s never too late to win.

Demonstrate Confidence in What You Have!

Tuesday, March 10th, 2009

“Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me (Heb 13:5-6)”

Last week, we mentioned three things you already have as a believer – God’s word, the name of Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. We said those are ALL you need for a total life of success and victory. You must be satisfied with such things as you have so that you would not covet what you do not have that you think you need.

However, I have discovered that the real challenge for many Christians is not being contended with what they have, rather, it is demonstrating confidence in what they have when confronted with challenges of life. But you wonder, what is the difference? Contentment with what you have will eradicate covetousness, but it is your confidence in what you have that eliminates fear of defeat or failure. This is what the second part of the main text is about and is my interest for our discussion today.

Can You See the Land?

Monday, January 19th, 2009

“And, behold, the word of the LORD came unto him, saying, This shall not be thine heir; but he that shall come forth out of thine own bowels shall be thine heir. And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be. And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness. And he said unto him, I am the LORD that brought thee out of Ur of the Chaldees, to give thee this land to inherit it (Gen 15:2-5)

Dear friend,
Our regular faith-life articles are back after the holidays. We are trusting God for greater exploit for this ministry and all our friends and partners this year. But, let me remind you of the word we received from the Lord for us this year that we “possess the land” of promises set before us. We believed God has set promotion, victory, healing, prosperity, and progress on your job and business before you, we therefore, encourage you to come with us as we possess all that is ours this year.

Mind Your Language!

Tuesday, April 29th, 2008

“Let the weak say, I am strong (Joel 3:10)”

In my last article (How to Speak God’s Promises into your Life), I emphasized the need to differentiate between facts and truth. This is necessary because in the Kingdom of God, you don’t confess the facts, you speak the truth about your situation. The “fact” is the state of your situation in the physical realm while the “truth” is the state of your situation in the spiritual realm. For example, in the physical you may not have money in your pocket (that is a fact), but in the spiritual realm, you are blessed with all things that partain unto life and Godliness, which is the truth (Ref: 2 Pet 1:3 and Eph 1:3). As believers, we must be conscious of our language and learn to agree with God’s truth concerning our situation.

How to Speak God’s Promises into your Life

Monday, April 21st, 2008

“For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes. A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for out of the abundance of his heart his mouth speaketh (Luke 6:43-45)”

In my last article in the series, I stressed the importance of speaking faith-based words. Our passage today once again, reinforced the connection between what is in our heart and what we say with our mouth. Unfortunately, whatsoever you say with your mouth will come to pass – either good or evil. Therefore, you must learn as a believer to train your mouth to speak God’s promises and not what your circumstances is pressurizing you to say.
